These are the terms and conditions that apply when you reserve a room at The Victoria Inn B&B. They apply to all online bookings at thevictoriainnroch.com and all bookings made directly with the Victoria Inn B&B and indirectly through our affiliates.
By making a reservation you are accepting these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them each time you make a reservation. The terms and conditions applying to your reservation will be those in place on the date that you make your reservation.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
Payment is made in full at time of booking your reservation.
We accept credit/debit card payments via . If you need to cancel your booking you may cancel incur credit card service charges.
Please check that the details of your booking are complete and accurate before you confirm your reservation. We will not be liable if you provide us with incorrect information.
We will confirm our acceptance of your booking by sending you an email to the email address that you provide during the reservation process. The contract between us for the provision of your room will be formed when you receive this email confirmation from us.
If you think that there is a mistake in your booking or if you require any changes to a confirmed reservation, please contact us.
Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation.
*Breakfast is included in your room price. *Breakfast - Currently we are only offering a breakfast caddy option which is delivered to the B&B foyer every evening. Typically the caddy will contain cereal, milk, juice, pastry, breakfast muffin, yogurt and fruits.
The maximum room occupancy is two adults.
Any room damage or breakages during your stay will be subject to charge.
Vehicles and their contents are left entirely at the owner risk. We do not accept responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents. We do have a CCTV security camera overlooking the car park.
Checking In and Out
Rooms are available from 3 pm* temporary changed to 5pm on the day of arrival. A keysafe system is in place for your convience. Rooms must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
You must not:
smoke anywhere inside the premises. This includes the smoking of e-cigarettes. Permitted smoking areas will be identified on site. Smoking on premises outside of the designated smoking area will result in a £100 fine;
bring any pets into the B&B premises.
bring any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials or equipment onto the premises;
use any electrical appliances that may set off the fire alarm system, such as toasters, mini cookers or portable grills;
tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment;
remove, damage or destroy any property;
use any of the technology provided to download or access any unlawful or obscene material; or
cause unreasonable disturbance to our other guests or any staff.
If you or your group cause damage or loss of any kind to the B&B, other guests or their property, you (as the person making the booking) will be responsible for that damage or loss and you shall be liable to pay the Victoria Inn B&B on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage or loss.
You and the members of your group must not resell or transfer your reservation (or any part of it) nor advertise, market or otherwise offer any Victoria Inn B&B room for sale. We will not honour any reservations made in this way and do not accept any liability for doing so.
Covid-19 What we are doing and asking guests to do so we all stay safe and well.
During high season we are only taking minimum 3 night stay bookings.
keeping to our high standards of cleanliness in our rooms and applying additional measures;
Bed linen is washed by a local cleaning company, who are following the government guidelines and increasing the temperature all our linen is washed at. We have also decided to change bedding sets after each guest.
Check in is now 5pm – increasing our time to allow for deep cleaning.
Housekeeping will not enter your room for the duration of your stay – alternative procedures are in place.
Breakfast – currently a breakfast caddy delivered to the B&B foyer.
Removed any unnecessary items from the rooms such as our decorative bed runners, binoculars and books so apologies if you find the room a little sparse.
Necessary items such as the tea/coffee making facilities are still available in your room.
Our communal fridge is still accessible to guests, but we will not be providing our usual daily milks and water.
All B&B keys left for guest arrivals are wiped with antiviral spray.
We have hand sanitisers in the foyer, on the landing and in all rooms.
We ask all guests to wear face masks when in communal areas of the B&B i.e. the foyer, stairway and landing, and respect the social distancing measures, which for Wales is currently 2m.
We ask all guests on check out to strip their beds and leave the room window open - we would really appreciate your cooperation with this, thank you!
If you need to cancel a reservation please call / email us as soon as possible.
If we are notified 14 days prior to the booking and/or we are able to rebook your room(s) a full refund will be provided*. Cancellation after this date you will be charged 50% of your stay. Cancellation with only 7 days prior to your booking no refund will be given. *less any card transaction processing fees which we may have incurred.
Our right to cancel. Events outside our control.
We may cancel your reservation if an event outside of our control (including industrial action, explosion, fire, flooding, and failure of power and/or water supplies or emergency evacuation) means that we are unable to make your room available to you. In this case we will contact you to let you know as soon as possible and we will refund your payment.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations that is caused by an event outside of our control.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
As stated above our standard policy is to give guests a full refund (less any credit card service charges) for your booking up until 2 weeks prior to your stay. However with circumstances as they are we have decided to temporarily change our policy. If you have tested positive for covid-19, been asked to self isolate or cannot travel due to government covid travel restrictions and are due to arrive within 2 weeks we are happy to either offer alternative dates or a refund (less any credit card service charges, if card payment has been processed) upon proof of circumstances.
